Our Team

Dr. Theresa grew up in Michigan and attended Michigan State University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree. She then married her husband, Alex, and started a career teaching music. After teaching for several years, she changed career paths and entered medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine. She moved to Florida to complete her pediatric residency at All Children's Hospital, University of Southern Florida.

After residency, Dr. Theresa and her family moved to Fort Wayne. She and her husband raised three children here. She has cheered on many kids at Carroll High School events. Now she enjoys traveling to see her children whenever she can. She has cared for patients at Fort Wayne Pediatrics since 2001.

Dr. Theresa's favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, as it is simply about gathering with family and friends and enjoying the company of each other. She loves a kitchen full of people and good food. Her favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast. It's a positive message for girls promoting education and exploration while pushing past boundaries to achieve goals and keeping your priorities straight. Her favorite seasons are summer since it is most like Florida and fall due to the beautiful changes in color. She loves to root for the USA snowboarding team. She loves protein fruit smoothies. When time allows, she enjoys running long distance and hiking all over the United States.
