Our Team

A Buckeye from birth, Dr. Sauer graduated from Ayersville High School in Defiance, Ohio. He then attended John Carroll University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree. He attended medical school at North Eastern Ohio University College of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency training at Akron Children's Hospital.

Dr. Sauer married his wife, Jennifer, during his pediatric residency. After graduation, they moved to Indiana and raised their three children in Leo. He is the proud grandfather of two grandsons.  Dr. Sauer has cared for children at Fort Wayne Pediatrics since 1997.

Dr. Sauer's favorite holiday is Christmas because of all the awesome family memories. He loves summer because he can spend time outdoors with family and friends, especially running his Sea-Doo at the lake.

One of Dr. Sauer's favorite vacation spots is Disneyworld! He loves the Disney movie Toy Story. His favorite food is spaghetti. If you have met him, you know he is a huge fan of the Ohio State University. He loves taking friends and family to games whenever he can. Go Bucks!
