Our Team

Born in Fort Wayne, Dr. Amy Fuchs moved north and graduated from Angola High School. She earned her degree in Biology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. After graduation, she attended Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her training in pediatrics at Methodist Hospital Pediatric Residency in Indianapolis.

Dr. Amy married her high school sweetheart, Doug Fuchs, in 1994, while attending medical school. After completing her residency in Indianapolis, they returned to the Fort Wayne area and currently live in Leo. Dr. Amy feels blessed to be raising four wonderful children in our community. She has attended countless marching band competitions, bowling matches, cross country and track meets, and choir performances over the years. She feels her kids have trained her well to be both a mom and pediatrician! She has provided care for patients at Fort Wayne Pediatrics since 2000.

Dr. Amy's favorite holiday is Halloween - who doesn't like to dress up? She loves the fall season because the leaves are beautiful and she gets to wear her comfy sweatshirt. Her favorite Disney movie is Finding Nemo - "Just keep swimming, swimming..." Her favorite food is Torpedo #5 at Caruso's in Angola. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing pickle ball, playing card games, reading, and relaxing at the lake.
