Cancellations
No-Show Policy/Last Minute Cancellations
We schedule appointments for our patients and value those appointments. When patients do not show or cancel at the last moment, that appointment time is lost that could have been used for an ill child. In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, we require cancellation to occur no later than the morning of the appointment. Well child visits and consultations require a 24-hour notice of cancellation.
Cancellation Policy
If there are 3 no-show or missed appointments in a year, the relationship between Fort Wayne Pediatrics and the patient will be terminated. The patient's caregiver will be sent a notice after the second encounter explaining that another missed/no show will be grounds for dismissal from the practice.
Prescription Refills
If your child needs a prescription refilled, call during office hours on Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. to speak with a nurse, or call our prescription refill voicemail that is available 24 hours a day at (260)490-7337, option 2. For more information about refills, click here.
